Homeschooling or educating at home is undoubtedly on the minds of many parents around the country at this time of year. Whether reluctant to send children to public schools for the first time or once again, these are tough decisions for many people. "Guys Read" Suggests Gender Differences in Reading

This site,  http://www.guysread.com , was mentioned in a posting with the Indiana Homeschoolers Yahoo group. One member was asking for help finding a good reading list for her 3rd-4th grade son. A response was made about the Guys Read site. Here are some of the points addressed there, suggesting that boys and girls may need different supports to reach the same level of achievement: -Statistics and anecdotal evidence show that boys are having trouble reading.
