New Publishing House: G8Press Launches Successfully

Well, it took us a while but we needed to iron out all the wrinkles before we launched G8Press. And today we did . . . launched and ironed.We love all you writers of fiction, speculative fiction, nonfiction, poetry, lyrics and even short story collections--all are welcome in our new publishing house. It's not difficult to walk through the gate but your work will have to be edited, at least once(or one gazillion) by you. If you are part of a writers group, you have a better chance of being accept

Muggy Weather And Dry Lightning

When it's 110 degrees outside you just man up and take it. Of course, it's nice when you're house keeps pretty cool . . . high 80's is bearable. The adorable laughter of kids playing in backyard pools makes you almost get into that bathing suit till you remember . . . you really shouldn't.Around 2:00pm the wind picked up and gray clouds gathered. It was still muggy but the temperature dropped about 20 degrees. Weird. No rain, just lots of lightning. Unfortunately, my Palm Pre camera wasn't fast
