I've been a Liverpool FC supporter since the early 1970's and have had the joy of watching Liverpool rise to become one of the worlds greatest football teams. The greatest highlight would be standing behind the goal at Wembley at the 1986 FA Cup final watching Ian Rush score 2 goals to beat Everton 3-1. Close behind would be being in the stands at the Parc de Princes in Paris for the European Cup final in 1981 with Alan Kennedy scoring 10 minutes from the end to beat Real Madrid 1-0. Two years ago I got to thank Alan personally. I simply love Liverpool and writing about the club on and off the field, the players, management, matches and gossip.

How well are FSG doing? An ownership review

Just over 18 months ago all Liverpool supporters were eternally grateful that John Henry and Fenway Sports Group recognized the true potential of Liverpool and rescued the club from the clutches of Hick's & Gillett and imminent administration. So just how well have the new owners done since October 2010?

FSG part ways with Dalglish

It's sad news but FSG have made the decision to part ways with Kenny Dalglish today. I have mixed emotions about the decision as I feel for Kenny and know he only wanted the best for Liverpool but unfortunately he was unable to deliver on the expectations especaily a top four finish.

Would you have Rafa back?

I’m torn, I mean seriously torn, about whether Kenny should be given the opportunity to stay for another year to show exactly what he can or cannot do at Anfield.
