Kawasan Falls  hopefully  will be open on May 24, 2012.  Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) Chief Engr. Adolfo Quiroga said last May 2, 2012 that Capitol has until May 24 to rebuild the river’s natural banks and open it to the public.  Kawasan Falls will be open for the Kawasan Falls Marathon on May 20, 2012, exclusive  I think only for the participants. Kawasan Falls is currently closed to tourist as ordered by Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia starting April 17, 2012 because of the ongoing development and demolition of the illegal structure located in the area. Kawasan Falls is reported to be closed for at least one week or until the demolition is finished.
