Jerry Downs Photo Essays

Being a photographer has exposed me to hundreds of places around the world and allowed me to visit just as many individual worlds. Rodeos and rose competitions, early childhood development departments and elderly Alzheimer's care centers, mining excavators and experts on the mind, production plants and planting produce, family farms and the sights of hundreds of cities. Each has taught me how to be a better photographer. And, more importantly, each has taught me something about myself.
