Diabetes Update

L has been home from the hospital since last week Tuesday evening. All is well with no lasting damage. We are waiting to hear back from the lawyer about a possible malpractice case against the former dr.s & the clinic. L is taking Humalog 3 times a day before each meal & Lantus at bedtime. She checks her blood sugars before each meal & at bedtime as well. All in all L is feeling much better! I will be accompanying her to her dr. visits from now on & will go with L through any

Type 1 Diabetes

I took my oldest L to the hospital emergency because she hasn't been feeling well. They said L was NEVER a type 2 Diabetic because she NEVER fit the profile for it. We have had 5 dr.s-the ones when she was in the Americorps NCCC for her 10 month tour in various states & another dr. here in our home state, all say that she was a type 2 Diabetic. They were ALL wrong. The emergency dr. at the hospital here in our home state said L doesn't fit the type 2 profile but fits the type 1 profile. W
