Shelly and Carla at my locker in 1984. Yeah. Nobody messed with Carla Nelson.I am packing today. Trying to stay focused on washing clothes and hanging them outside to dry.(Dryer is dead.)I leave tomorrow for Salt Lake City, Utah. Why you ask? I am meeting my best girly friend Shelly. See that thingy on the right? Yeah. It's right there. There. You can't miss it. I am so grateful that I once again have been training for the triathlon and look forward to running the race to bring awareness to the pain of abortion and the need for abortion recovery. I will grieve in a positive way the 20 years since my abortion. The journey I walk is difficult and amazing at the same time. God has redeemed so much of the pain and my Aubrey is with Him.
