World Land Speed record attempt from backyard shed Steve Vorwerk of Adelaide has been tinkering away in his shed for the past year putting together the parts and pieces he has collected and built an 18 Litre 550 hp V 12 Diesel engine with dual superchargers and put it into an old International Truck. On the 9th of March 2009 Steve is travelling to Lake Gardiner and having a go at the speed record.

SANFL Grand Final song a hit The song by Darren McCrae who used to play for West Adelaide and was on the coaching staff at North Adelaide, the Eagles and forward scout for North Melbourne and Carlton, will be sung at the pre game entertainment for Sunday's SANFL Grand Final after being re-written for the radio in SA.
