Plink Plink Fizz
It's 6pm on a Friday. If you haven't got a large gin and tonic in your hand (other beverages are available), you're doing Friday wrong. Fact. The Hendricks, Tanqueray and Edinburgh gins were all gifts. People who give me gin are kind of my favourites. Just saying. The amazing 'gin and titonic' ice cubes were a gift from the lovely Hayley. A Very British Afternoon
Afternoon tea, that is. If I said that the last three weeks had been frustrating, confusing, difficult and life-changing, then it would probably be an understatement. I can sum it up quite simply really. An injured boyfriend = no Afghanistan = the next year of plans gone. But such is life. In Absentia
Yep, that there is a few of the reasons why I've a) not been here in weeks and b) gained approximately 12 gazillion stone (figures may not be accurate) in weight. From Lanzarote to London to Easter at my house to Almost Famous in Manchester to lunch in the sun today with B. It's been boozy, foody and ruddy bloody marvellous.
