Oatmeal CardiganMore knitting news: I finally completed the Oatmeal Cardigan, which I started, according to my Ravelry page, back on February 26.  I don't think that includes the spinning time!  This was a lovely, easy knit, though; the hot weather intruded a bit and knitting on a larger wool project wasn't as much fun during the sticky near-90 degrees we were seeing.  I tackled this all at once during some cooler days and got it completed.   Right now Veronica is getting to

 Summer GardenThere's nothing quite like a garden.  Ours is a small patch, just 30 feet by about 20 feet but crammed with goodness.  Lots of bunny poop and diligent tilling and quite a bit of weeding have paid off with beautiful green, green lush plants.  We've been getting fresh lettuce for awhile and I just picked the third zucchini off the one plant that we have.  Green tomatoes are showing up on all the tomato plants and I'm watching the pea pods carefully as they sw
