Unlike Number 6, P183 has no such hang ups. Ironically, anonymity is highly prized amongst street artists who want to make a name for themselves, just look at Banksy and Alec Monopoly. Known only for their work (or crime, dependent on the viewer) the air of mystery around these modern-day Scarlet Pimpernel’s adds to their mythology.

So Who is P183. Is he a numerologists who sees universal significance in numerals, or is he making a waspish reference to consumer culture in which individuals are now becoming commodities. Or, is he just Pavel, a graduate in communicative design who stands 1.83 metres in his cotton socks.
