As you head out to take part in your daily duties, whether work related, or personal enjoyment, why not take a moment to slow down and see what you have around you. We live in such a fast paced world that we never seem to appreciate what we have been blessed with. People are dying all around us, yet we have good health. All across the world people are starving and unaware of where there next meal will be coming from, or even if they will be getting one, but we have so much that we are constantly throwing it away.
War continues to ravage much of this world, but you have been spared such a tragedy. Beautiful flowers and sceneries are blessing us everywhere, yet there are those who do not have the ability to see. Before you decide to lose your patience due to high volumes of traffic on the road, stop and say thank you for the fact that you can afford a car, not to mention the gas that it takes to operate it. The addictions that grip so many of our society today may very well have avoided you and for that you should be thankful.
We have so many things to be thankful for, yet we seem a bit more interested in looking for something to complain about. Have you ever stopped to think that these gifts we have may beblessings from above, do we take a few minutes everyday to offer our thanks, or do we just assume that we deserve more?
