What should be the deciding factor?

What should be the deciding factor?

Many of our young couples today are hoping to get pregnant so that they can start a family. It is not uncommon for couples living together (that are not yet married) to be picking out names for a child that they hope will arrive to help them be a complete family. The life of an unborn child cannot be compared to anything else in this world and no matter how many times the argument comes up, everyone knows that taking the life of a fetus is nothing short of murder. Mothers who choose to be promiscuous and end up becoming pregnant may not be ready for the added responsibility, but even they know that it is better to give the child up for adoption that put it to death.

We live in a society where we seem divided between pro life and pro choice and for the most part I can see both sides to this problem. The thing is, this “problem” is nothing but a blessing from God and should be treated as such. Pregnancy should be one of the most cherished gifts that we receive and other than the gift of life, there is nothing else to compare. What gets me confused is how in the name of all that is good and pure could a person who calls themselves “Christian” find pro choice to be okay? When you really think about it, whether you are a Christian or not, as long as you believe in good and evil, you have to believe that pro choice is nothing short of a murder waiting to happen.
