I have bought an apartment studio type where built in the air conditioning did not remove the water from the air. I have been concerned about noise because I often work from home and need it to be quiet. I’m very happy with this unit. It is quieter than a fan table set on high, even with the compressor running. If you can’t sleep because of the noise, or you have a defective unit or there is something wrong with you.

In my apartment, filling in for about 10-15 hours. I could blank it twice a day, but I’m buying a little giant pump so that I can just let it run and forget about it.

I would have rated it five stars but according to at least half the reviews, it probably will last only one season. Once they break, they cannot be repaired so it can dump. I would be happy if it lasts longer, but don’t be surprised if it doesn’t.
