I was angered this morning to read that someone in the Pentagon is questioning whether our veterans are receiving too much pension after they have spent 20 years in the service.

I mean these are the brave souls wo put themselves in harms way for the sake of our nation, for crying out loud.

The absolute nerve of some of these bureaucrats and politicians in Washington!

I know we are living in some austere times, but I am of the opinion that we can find somewhere else to cut rather than the pensions of our fighting men and women.  That is ludricous as far as I am concerned.

You know what?  If Congress wants to cut something, let them start with their own outrageous salaries and perks!  Let them sacrifice their free health insurance since they apparently don't want any of the rest of us to have any. Let them travel by car or bus instead of corporate jet at taxpayer expense.
