Today we present one of our favourite recipes: hummus. We propose two different alternatives, both of them so simple and delicious that you will always keep a hummus bowl in the fridge!

Cook the chickpeas with the bay leaf until the grains are very easily smashed when pressed between two fingers (we recommend to leave them to soak overnight). You can also used canned cooked chickpeas.

When the chickpeas are ready, add the tahini at will (the taste of this sesame paste is intense, so be careful), a clove of garlic, lemon juice, salt and olive oil. Then put the mixture into a food processor and grind well. This is one of the most delicious, simple and nutritious dishes of the arabic cuisine!
