Using every option to help tread water

It had been awhile since Stacy worked as a receptionist, but she was aware of the fact that the country as a whole was experiencing a high rate of unemployment. Stacy had many friends who had a hard time being able to achieve gainful employment and she was hoping that she did not fall into that category. Someone said that there were several open jobs, but most of them were government jobs and in those cases it was all about who you knew to be able to access that particular workforce.
One of the biggest issues that we are encountering as a society is the problem we have when we have to pay back our loans. Nobody likes to be in debt but a lack of income can turn our world upside down easier than we realize. While the whole country is trying to keep their head above water, some are losing their homes to foreclosure while others are having to considerdebt consolidation just to maintain some semblance of normalcy. The same debt we are encountering as a country is trickling down to the man in the street.
It is very common for our neighbors to turn to a credit card to bail them out, an option that will likely make things worse, rather than provide any improvement. In order to pay the monthly installments on the cards we must have the available funds in our budget, unfortunately some of us are not even sure where our next dollar will be coming from. We try to think of how to transfer money from one credit card to another, only to realize that the payment requirements end up even higher than before.
