that sounds very morbid, but after saying farewell to my step father, during the 6 hour drive home i wondered about my own goodbye. it is not something i’ve given much thought to, but it seemed appropriate to do so while driving the long highway home. my farewell will have to be a laugh, i’d want anyone who happened to be there to laugh and remember what a weird wally i was, how silly i used to be, and regale tales of my most embarrassing moments.that’s if anyone is there of course. all of this would be wthout any religious content at all and the mood would be set with three songs, pre-organised to convey the message and mood i wished to set.

so here are the result of my thoughts, these three songs may change or indeed may be the ones, if changed they will be close in vibe to these. dear reader you may realise that two of these have featured here before, there’s a reason for that.

i am a firm believer in pre-paying and organising one’s sendoff, the most important part will be the spreading of my ashes into sydney harbour. have you thought of your own goodbye, i’d recommend doing so.
