The Last Question: The First Promise

Our God and our Father, we cannot but be dumbfounded and amazed at this Divine love for sinful man.

As we come to the foot of the Cross we behold Christ crucified for us, yes each of us. In our mind's eye we see His hands and feet nailed to the cross. We see His pierced side. There is a fountain of cleansing for sin and for uncleanness. We see His head crowned with thorns.

Can we think of our bleeding, dying Saviour, and know the pain and suffering that He underwent willingly, in our place? For each of us. Yet it is here that He draws us. To make us face the awful price of our redemption. He died that I might live. Can I but come to Him by faith, trusting in His mercy?

If you have never accepted this so great a salvation, pray the following words:

"I confess to God that I am a sinner and believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross, and was raised for my justification. I do now receive and confess Him as my personal Saviour. Amen."

Don't you know that the angels are shouting in Heaven?

May God bless you and be with you as you begin your walk with His Son. Spend time with Him in His Word, to solidly ground your faith and begin your growth to maturity. God will bless every step.
