Stay On The Internet
Regardless of what British cranks, who are just jealous that the Weeknd is more popular in North America than Dizzee Rascal, I think artists should stick to whatever it is that they do best. If some old codger can't wrap his dumb brain around change, then I don't think it's he is doing anyone any favours (except his publisher for drumming up controversy). While I agree that with things like laptops, blogs and twitter have changed music in many ways, I count almost all of them as positives. If the scene gets filled with hacks and untalented glory seekers, the scene almost always has a natural way of killing those off before they become too prevalent.
No need to be such a baby Guardian staffer, your paper is going down the tubes, that's no reason to spit on your readers.
