When it comes to small living room spaces, pale or monochromatic schemes are best.  Opt for neutrals, white or cool blues and greens.  Contrary to belief a monochromatic scheme does not mean black and white, it simply means using different tones in the same colour.  This helps to make furniture recede into the background making the space feel larger.

What furniture or features would be a must for you, if you could only pick 5 key pieces for a small living room?  Let us know we'd love to hear from you!
