Six Flags celebrates 9/12 as Muslim Family Day

In case you haven't planned your summer vacation yet, let me add one more event for your consideration:Muslim Family Day at Six Flags on 9/12! The food vendors will be serving fresh Halal. Due to safety precautions, you are not permitted to wear loose clothing (unpinned scarves, niqabs or  dupattas) before going on the rides. So please pin up those burkas we wouldn't want a wardrobe malfunction incident. We would hate to see a full female face being immorally exposed in front of the children. The indecency of equal rights for women is so revolting.

I am not making this up. If you visit the Six Flags web site event calendar (see below), you will find the event is scheduled for 9/12. What better way to celebrate the attack on America by Arab Muslim extremists, than a good old fashioned roller coaster ride! Maybe the director of NASA can bring his family to better understand his new job as NASA Pubic Muslim Relations Director.

A special selection of various Halal Restaurants will be selling their food at the East Pavilion area. East Pavilion Picnic Area is also the place to gather for socializing, bazaar, entertainment programs, and much more!

So pack your Burka and call your travel agent today!

I find it interesting that the group does not directly disavow the attack on 9/11 by Islamic extremists. Instead they reference the day as "tragic".

"This event was first held at Six Flags Great Adventure, NJ, in September 2000. The event was immediately a huge success. The tragic events of 9/11 that resulted in the loss of thousands of innocent lives, also affected this event directly. The chief organizer, Tariq Amanullah, who worked on the 96th floor of WTC, Tower 2, passed away. The team was unable to come together again till year 2004, when the event came back bigger than ever before."

Even Six Flags has no reference to the 9/11 connection.

"Six Flags hosts the annual I.C.N.A. Muslim Family on September 12. This event offers fun for the entire family visit muslimfamilyday.com for additional information."

It's not that people shouldn't enjoy a theme park as Arab -Muslim Americans. But would we equally celebrate Imperial Japanese Family Day at Six Flags on December 12? Sometimes timing is everything. I consider this timing purposeful, and incendiary.
