This pokemon papercraft is the Sudowoodo, a Rock-type Pokémon, based on the anime / game Pokemon, the paper model was created by João Vieira. Sudowoodo evolves from Bonsly when leveled up while knowing Mimic. In Generation II, its remakes and Pokémon Emerald, wild Sudowoodo can be found blocking the road in inconvenient locations in Johto and Hoenn. In order to catch one, a Trainer must first alert it by squirting it with water from either a SquirtBottle or Wailmer Pail.
Sudowoodo has a brown, log-shaped body with some yellow spots on it. It has short legs with toe-less feet. Sudowoodo has club (♣) shaped hands that remain green year-round. Sudowoodo has a forked “branch” on top of its head. Despite its plant-like appearance, its body is actually made of rock.
Sudowoodo is most known for Mimicking its opponents’ attacks. As a Rock-type Pokémon, Sudowoodo is capable of a wide variety of Rock and Ground attacks such as Stone Edge and Earthquake. It can also learn Fighting-type attacks, such as Hammer Arm and Brick Break. It can also learn Wood Hammer, being the only Rock-type to do so. Sudowoodo can also learn Calm Mind, however Hidden Power, Mud-Slap, Snore and Earth Power are the only special moves that Sudowoodo can use. Even though it is a fully-evolved Pokémon, Sudowoodo lacks the ability to use Hyper Beam and Giga Impact.
Sudowoodo can be found living in forests, but finding one can sometimes be a little tricky as Sudowoodo have the aforementioned habit of pretending to be a tree in order to blend in with their surroundings. However, during winters, Sudowoodo’s camouflage fails. Its forearms remain green, even in winter, thus it is easy to tell it from true trees. This may cause massive migrations of Sudowoodo to more southern areas, where the winter may not affect its camouflage. Sudowoodo have been sighted in Johto and Hoenn’s Battle Frontier. However, they are more numerous in Sinnoh, where they can sometimes be found in the wild.
Sudowoodo pretends to be a plant, but it is afraid of water. Its composition is closer to a rock than to a plant. A female has shorter “branches” on the top of its head.
