Peter Ceccarelli is an abstract contemporary color-field art.  He primarily works in acrylic with a wet brush to accomplish different effects as paint is applied to paper or canvas.  His fine art site can be found at http://paintedartceccarelli.etsy.com

He is passionate about his art and is always inspired to work.  He challenges himself to create a body of work that inspires emotion and something that is pure, complete, and authentic.

Primarily self taught, he was influenced by a close knit community of artists, designers, and architects.  He has also studied art and design at various colleges over the years.

He is an award winning artist, having twice won the first place award at the annual Festival of the Arts in Los Angeles.  His work is collected on a nationally and international level.

He also owns a limited edition original hand painted greeting card company that until recently was exclusively distributed around the world through a representative partnership, and sold exclusively at fine stores such as Neiman Marcus, Barney's New York, Fortnum & Mason London, Ito-Ya Tokyo, and many other upscale gift and home decor stores.  His current greeting card line can be found at http://paintedcard.etsy.com

Peter residues in Seattle, Washington and when he's not painting he enjoys his garden, hiking, alpine skiing, classical music and cooking.
