Red Lion Controls has added two products to their G3 Kadet series of operator interface panels. These two new additions are part of the portfolio expansion of Red Lion's industrial automation solutions. The G304K2 and the G307K2 panels have screens that have a wide format and high resolution. They also offer complete HMI or Human Machine Interface functionality for communication devices such as motor drives and PLCs. This kind of functionality improves control, visibility, management, and overall productivity in various industrial environments.

At four inches wide, the G304K2 has an Ethernet port that can support up to four Ethernet protocols among 70 supported ones. It can be assigned two serial protocols (from a list of 150) in the unit's RS232 and RS485 ports, allowing it to communicate simultaneously with an unlimited number of devices that are disparate.

On the other hand, the seven-inch wide G307K2 has a WVGA wide screen that's meant for bigger displays. With a resolution of 800x480, the display is also of high-definition and supports 32K colors for user interfaces that are detailed and superior clarity. Like the G304K2, it supports four Ethernet protocols. As for serial protocols, it supports three simultaneously.
