It takes time to put together a network marketing business that produces any real money. Today's top producers learn to blend the traditional approach with online marketing.

The traditional network marketing approach can prepare you to get off to a quick beginning, but only when worked effectively. Online marketing requires a period of time to master (but will be worth it), unless you are already online marketing savvy.

It is definitely okay if you are not yet involved in a MLM company. Now is the best time to initiate your marketing, beginning with a plan. And, if you are already involved, here are a number of ideas that should help you have additional success.

If you're serious about succeeding, here are my recommendations:

1. Build a written list of all your contacts, e.g., business, personal, family, etc., BUT do not think you are going to have to chase or bug them, Read on…

2. Think about whom on your list would be most willing to get involve with anything, you choose to enroll in, just because they trust you and believe in you.

3. Prioritize your list based on recommendation 2. (This is a crucial step.)

4. A great way to use this list is to tell people that you are beginning a new venture and ask them who they know that would be interested in your type of opportunity. This is a very simple strategy. Some people will want to know about what you are working on for their own gain. Others may give you a referral that you can get in touch with using them as a reference.

5. Consider carefully what people on your list would be interested in, would benefit by being actively involved in, and may want to learn more about,

6. Clearly define what market you want to be in – National? Global? Local? Think about what that market may be most interested in. Do some research.

7. Then, think about what you are very interested in. Do any of their interests match any of your interests?

8. Look for a company that promotes services or products that aligns with your criteria.

You must attract, not chase, the members that you genuinely desire to have on your team. This is a capability that you have to acquire.
