It’s huge for me, anyway. My house, my world. My New Year’s resolution is to get my life organized. It sounds cliché, I know, but if you knew me you would know how huge a feat this is. I am not an organized person, by any means, which I will readily admit to. Where those close to me have their bills and receipts filed away, mine are in piles around the house. As some parents put together baby books for their kids, all my kids’ special papers and photos are in a huge pile in my bedroom, sitting there for oh, about 5 years. And did I mention this pile is underneath another pile of old coats that need to be donated?
I know it sounds like my house is so gross, and you are probably imagining critters and bugs and the worst of it, but it’s not like that. The house itself is clean. I am good at cleaning in normal circumstances, but I have no idea how to get organized. Since having baby #3, my cleaning routine has been, uh, compromised. But it’s getting better, and as I start feeling more and more like myself, I NEED to get things under control. I am so sick of not knowing where things are!
So I have pledged to get organized, and hopefully you guys can help me. I will be posting a series of articles about my organization marathon and I am hoping I can get some suggestions and helpful tips along the way!
