Where have the past 39 years gone? What happened to the pretty? Why do my boobs sag down to my navel and what is this horrible flap of skin that is now covering my C-section incision? I am ready for a Mommy Makeover.

Over the past few months I have taken back my life. I am still the same person, same mother, same wife... but just feel different. I was told a few years ago by my brother-in-law's wife that when I came close to hitting 40 something would change. She didn't say what "something" was, but turns out she was oh so right!

I was never an all about me kind of person, and looked at those who were like they had "something" wrong with them. I was wrong, it was me - I never gave time for myself and everyone suffered. That all changed this past November. I decided that enough was enough. I made a list. I have a plan.

I have lost over 20 lbs in 9 weeks. I am working out at least 5 times a week and I am still trying to get my house in order...baby steps! What was the "something" that got me going? I don't know. - Maybe it was watching a movie called "King of the Hamptons" that put a match under my ass (LOL)? Maybe it was being on the beach last summer and not being a MILF? Whatever it was - "something" clicked!

I often wonder why they don't give you a tummy tuck after having a C-section. I am sure it would cut down on the baby blues. 
So I go forward with my plan of getting down to fighting weight. When I do... I'll reward myself by getting a "Mommy Makeover" this spring. I will have my stomach back instead of the Walter Hudson tire I am sporting. And my boobs? They will no longer look like tennis balls in the bottom of socks and I will fight my insurance to pay for it all. How? I'll check the box on the insurance form that reads: mental health!
