Pumas UNAM and Monterrey are both out. As the 17-week regular season is over in Mexico, but now the real fun is about to start with the top 8th teams that have qualified for the Liguilla and other 10 teams have'nt.

Like any other year, surprises abound althought 2011 might be a little more shocking than usual. Defending Clausura champions UNAM Pumas that they finished 9th. CONCACAF Champions League Winners Monterrey in the 11th.
