Hey folks...i am back again on this platform .This time i shall share feelings about one of my favourite poem " Mela".

"Mela" is a punjabi word for "Fair' . Punjab is famous for its fair few of them are Mela Chhapar, Roshni mela of Jagraon and Maghi Mela of Muktsar and shahidi jor mela of fateh garh sahib.

Traditionally Mela is organized in honor of a famous  personality,incident where in poeple get together to pay homage to their heroes.

This poems of mine depicts feeling of a tyipical punjabi who is telling his wife to get ready for going to fair. he find mela a favourite get together of Old friends and relatives. it is combination of religious belief and enjoyment for him. he also feels connected with his ancestral village through medium of "Mela" since he treats this mela as opprtunity to visit his village.
