Knowing the sex ahead of time
The news was good, but Marie was not sure that she was ready to tell everyone that she was expecting a baby as yet. Because she was only a few weeks pregnant, some would suggest that it was bad luck to say anything too soon in the pregnancy. This was the first child for Scott and Marie and although they had been around newborns before, they wanted to be prepared for every possibility. A friend introduced them to BabyBlankets.com and as they perused the wide selection of blankets on hand they both agreed that there are a number of sources online to buy baby blankets, but this one is proving to be a helpful site!
When it comes to having a baby, most parents believe that they have all their bases covered, especially the younger ones. The thing about pregnancy is that you never really know what to expect as far as the gender of the child and there are quite a few parents that would prefer to keep the gender a secret, once they find out that they are pregnant. As the months during the maternity progresses it dawns on the young couple that knowing the sex of the newborns will give them an edge when they try to shop for the new addition.
Something as simple as baby blankets can be purchased based on pink or blue, depending on whether it will be a boy or a girl. Most expecting parents will change their minds several times as far as knowing the sex of the baby before the child actually gets here. On the other hand, the ones that stand firm on not wanting to know ahead of time will probably choose a yellow blanket from the baby store, as they consider all the other items they need to purchase in an attempt to ready themselves for the new bundle of joy.
