Mexico City - José Torres who is the U.S. National Team midfielder has surgery on his left foot this wednesday and he is supposed to be out of the soccer field for several months from now.

A Pachuca team member said "The surgery was just to a fix a bone on his left foot, and he might miss the rest of the Apertura season, which ends in december".

José Torres has been called up three times by the U.S. national team coach to play with them.

Torres had a regular season with Pachuca team, he played with the U.S. team last year in the World Cup in South Africa.
