This past weekend the Sunday Night Blog took a look at travel: http://rjptalk.wordpress.com/2012/07/29/its-the-journey/  It is not about getting from one point to another, but about what you can experience along the way.  The journey is so much richer if we do not concentrate on "Are we there yet?" and concentrate more on the culture along the way.  The present journey for the author is to London 2012 for the Olympics then on the Germany and France.  The sights and sounds, the food, the friends and their culture is what it is all about.
