It all seems worthwhile.

The addition of a new member of the family wrapped in swaddling baby blankets is always a happy time, especially when the “parents to be” are actually planning and expecting their new arrival. When the child is brought home, it seems as though, family and friends are not able to get enough of the newborn baby’s smell and touch.
Expectant parents plan for most of the nine months prior to the baby’s arrival, with a room of its own, baby furniture, lots of baby blankets and a dresser full of other assorted clothing. Grandparents and other family members go the extra mile and prepare hand made clothing which are knitted with all the time and care that they could muster. Some new mothers actually have a parent stay over to help with everything that needs to be done, while the new parent adjusts to the beautiful baby.
Sleep is generally a thing of the past with parents taking turns covering for the early morning feedings and rocking the infant to sleep while they are held ever so closely, wrapped in their personalized baby blanket. Yes, there is some adjustments to be made, but for the new life that they welcomed, it all seems worthwhile.
