Internet Marketing Tip Commenting and Trackbacks

Internet marketing tip – commenting and trackbacks
In my last internet marketing tip, I talked about ‘harder vs easier’. Harder equating to work. Taking the time to actually learn a skill that the multitudes of internet marketers won’t. This absolutely gives you an advantage in my opinion. It allows you to create an action plan around a skill set, as opposed to buying every shortcut that comes along.
So today, my internet marketing tip expands on this. Writing your own content is sometimes arduous, but done right, it gives you many advantages.
The tip is this. In order to create traffic, try this. Do a Google search in Google blogs. Look for other blogs in your niche. Find a good one with plenty of comments on the articles. This is a good indicator of a blog with active readers and engaged readers.
Not only can you get a link back by commenting, but you have an everlasting supply of things to write about.
A good comment thread with back and forth conversation will lead to ideas of what are hot topics you can write about.
Oh, another internet marketing tip. When you do find a hot topic that is commented a lot on, write your own blog post on the topic and provide a trackback.
This not only gives you credibility in the readers eyes, but it makes the blog owner happy. This is how good partnerships are created. Can you say JV opportunity?
Don’t think your internet marketing empire will be built on automation. A huge part of being successful in internet marketing is who you know and how you can help each other. Small relationships like this are the foundation for future success for the both of you.
Internet marketing tip conclusion: Do the small things to build relationships. Don’t think it works? Ask yourself a question, when was the last time someone did a webinar on his own without a key presenter? It is always a JV.
Doing your own writing gives you the control and ability to provide content for other bloggers, and helps build relationships. Sure I can provide another marketer a PLR article I repurposed, but since the material isn’t mine, it’s harder to make a connection with the blog owner, which should be the focus.
