Innie or outie? Belly buttons determine your success.

Innies or outies? Small and cute? Deeper than the Mariana trench? Belly buttons. These amazing little leftovers from our entry into this world are little more than a reminder that we kicked our mom's butt for nine months.
Until now, they served mostly as a decoration for an otherwise blank slate we call our abdomen — six packs, or beer kegs notwithstanding. The latest fad in personal accessory includes dangling jewelry and tattooed art placed on, in, and all around it. Our belly button has become a statement of sexy. But could there be a more significant purpose to this little globule of scarred flesh?
A recent study set out to discover the secret to success. Well, at least success in sports. Turns out, that the clue to knowing what your sports gifting is lies in you Poppin' Fresh Dough button.
According to the study, the center of your gravity is identified precisely where your belly button is. What's important is not whether an athlete has an innie or an outie but where his or her navel is in relation to the rest of the body, says the study published in the International Journal of Design and Nature and Ecodynamics.
The study also reveals that West African athletes who have higher placed navals have a better chance at winning on the track. Conversely, the lower placed navals on Europeans and Asians, give them the advantage in the swimming pool.
The study did not mention if having an outie will have a negative impact on the swimmers however. You know, because it would act as a rudder and all.
