How to Remove Vomit Stains from Carpet

Vomit stains can be a real challenge to remove from a carpet. No matter what the source of stain is, you will have to deal with two problems – the stain and the odour. The quicker you address the stain, the less difficult it is to get rid of it. Here are a few tips that you can use to remove vomit stains from carpet.
The first step is to get anything you will need to remove vomit stains from carpet. This includes rubber gloves, carpet cleaning solution, soft-bristled brush, scrubbing sponge, large towel and a small bucket of hot water.
For small vomit stains with diameter no more of one foot, soak the stained area with a good carpet cleaner, then scrub the stain with the brush and blot dry. Repeat the process until the vomit stain is gone as frequently rinse the brush into the bucket of hot water, as recommended by cleaners Brockley. Once you have removed the stain, cover the wet area with a large towel folded in half  and let it sit there overnight to absorb the excess moisture.
Cleaning up medium sized vomit stains doesn't differ much from that of small stain. Probably, you will need a larger bucket and two towels but that are all changes though. Work from outer bounds of the stain towards its centre to prevent spreading the stain around, and as before, rinse the brush frequently into the bucket of hot water until the stain is gone. Place the two towels one over another onto the wet area, and leave the area covered overnight.
For vomit stains larger than two feet, it would be a good idea to use a heavy-duty steam cleaner. You can rent such a machine from most hardware stores. Simply follow the manufacturer's directions and you shouldn't have problems removing the vomit stain from your carpet. Make sure you have extracted most of the moisture in the carpet once the stain is gone, then leave the carpet to dry completely.
Keep in mind that if the vomit stain has been left to sit on the carpet for too long, it is very likely the stain to be permanent. However, you can try save your carpet by hiring professionals, such as cleaners Brockley, but don't put much hope in that.
