How to Make Green Cleaners

Below I will describe a few recipes of home made cleaning solutions. I will use only common household items, cheap, available, nothing fancy. By mixing a few of them you can get very potent cleaning solutions for your entire home. They are effective and cheap, so that you can save some money and time.

The first cleaner that you can make, is an abrasive solution, good for scrubbing baked in and dried stains. This one is made out of baking soda and water. Mix some baking soda with water, and stir the solution, until it looks like a paste. Another option that you may use is sprinkle some baking soda directly onto the stain and pour some water on it and then scrub.
Removals SE23 then suggest you make yourself a nice glass cleaner. Here you can use some warm water, white vinegar and mild dish soap. You will need a spray bottle in order to use this cleaner. Pour two cups of warm water into the spray bottle, add a few drips of mild dish soap and add 3 table spoons of white vinegar. Close the bottle and stir well. Voilà – you have a nice glass cleaning solution, that can be used on windows, mirrors, glass tables and some vases.

For a multi purpose cleaner I suggest the following. Again, use a sprinkler bottle as a container. Take  cups of warm water. Add to that about a tablespoon and a half of white vinegar. Then add to that about half a tablespoon of baking soda. Lock the bottle and stir. Because of the low dosage of baking soda and vinegar and the significantly larger amount of water, the mixture will not come into a chemical reaction. This multi purpose cleaner can be used on countertops, tables, furniture, likewise.

Varnished wood cleaners can be expensive. But not today. Removals SE15 say that you can make one out of plain water and lemon oil, or lemon juice. Put the water into a spray bottle and add a few – 4 or 7 drops of lemon oil to it. Mix it up and sprinkle onto a dry cloth, then you can wipe the furniture with it. If you have lots of furniture, you can make more cleaner. For every half a cup of water add 3 or 5 drops of lemon juice.
