How to Clean Your New Home

After a few days of searching for a new rental property, seeing different apartments and finally choosing the best one, comes the moment of moving in. You have to transport all the furniture and other belongings to the new place first, then comes the most pleasant part of a moving in - the arrangement.

There is one more thing that should be done before starting to arrange the new property - the cleaning. Usually the last tenants should have performed an end of tenancy cleaning to get their deposit back, but sometimes the property is left in a complete mess. Therefore you will need to clean the place before moving in. Keep in mind that you will need more time to get the cleanliness you want - about 3-4 days. It is a good idea to make a list of the tasks that should be done and to follow it - this will ease your job. Here are some more tips:

  • Take all the carpets to a carpet cleaning company to wash them. Do not place them back before all the cleaning job is done.
  • Continue with the windows. This is one of the most annoying cleaning chores. It is not so exhausting than time consuming.
  • Move to the bathroom and toilet. These are the places that also take much time to be cleaned. Do not forget about the disinfection which is crucial for such places.
  • Clean all the cabinets, tables, chairs etc. Polish them after cleaning to provide more shiny surfaces.
  • Clean all the floors before placing the carpets and rugs. Now you can finish with the arrangement.

Keep in mind that you can finish all the tasks if your mate helps you. If you are alone you will need more time. If you do not want to bother yourself with cleaning the mess of the last tenants you can call end of tenancy cleaning professionals. They will clean the place for no time on a professional level and will not cost you so much.
