i was asked by two lovely internet friends, one female and one male, to start a buzz about a new website coming soon .. and of course i dove in and began the process. the first attempt revealed that i completely misunderstood what they had intended for me to do, that didn’t worry me though, did it ?

not really all that hard to believe really, i am a bit “homer” sometimes and today it showed. also it was very lucky as i didn’t have any clue about a topic for today and then bingo !! i have it – me.

i’m told the new website will be launched september 1 – 2011 and the trumpets will sound, the doves released, the balloons flying off. these balloons will impact heavily on the environment, at least the doves will feed some birds of prey, but the balloons just kill wildlife in so many other ways.

so i will of course help to promote this new website, i’ll be apart of it, a contributor, a guide, a mentor and an idiot like figure in the background, but most of all – and this is the point of the recommendation and promotion, i’ll really enjoy it when it goes live .. standby for action.

now the fictional rubbish trick i thought to use is shown below, yes it’s a light shade of the truth and was intended to engage the facebook group ( of which we’re members ) as a whole, while creating a buzz .. is this buzzy enough ?

ok everybody, i have yet more favours to ask .. sorry it’s a regular thing. I doddle about building websites for people and a client has asked for some feedback, so where do i go well here of course.

so .. the nature of the site is aimed at being communication portal, with special interests such as blogging, writing in general ( about anything ), art and photography. it sounds like tbaoo except for the lack of silly, they may want that as well, so it might be real easy.  what i kindly, on lowered knee, ask of you dear blognosticators, is some guidance as to what you would like to see in or on, such a site, would you be joining ( free of course ), would you advertise and would you recommend it to friends ? i hope to get some serious and silly discussion ( if required ), going here and btw the pork spare ribs were delicious !!
