Here Come The Bats
Winter is leaving and spring in approaching. The weather in Michigan has been fantastic. Very unseasonably warm and sunny. It is a nice change compared to what we are used to in March. One of the only things putting a damper on the nice weather is the upcoming "bat" season. Okay, so bats only have 1 baby a year. (I personally think they have alot more than one - but I'm just going by how many fly around my yard at night) That one baby must never leave home. It stays around to torment me by dive bombing at my head when I go outside. Not to mention the once or twice they manage to get into my house and scare me to pieces. I read somewhere that bats always turn left when they leave their cave. I wonder if the same is true when they leave a building? It doesn't matter, they always find their way around me anyway. Bats are the only mammals that fly. Isn't that convenient? I don't wish bats any harm mind you. I just want them to fly in another direction other than my head. Let's hope this summer they turn left and keep going.
