I've been betting on horses and football and loads of sports for more years than I can remember. It all started like it usually does with an occasional flutter on a big horse race or footy match but after a while I got the bug.

I became convinced that I could make my fortune from betting. I've come up with loads of systems but what usually happens is that if I lose money straight away I move on to another system. This is the fallacy or a gambler. We want to win lots of money and straight away, for little outlay. No wander the bookies love us mug punters!

 I've become convinced that the only way to make money from gambling is to treat it like a proper business. That means more research, no betting on the spur of the moment(this is still very difficult for me), being more selective about what you bet on and most of all keep records of every bet you place and why notes on why you placed your bet in the first place.
