Galaxy Nexus News

Not to make you guys feel sad or anything, just 1 month after the release of the phone game changer, the Galaxy Nexus, some issues have come to the surface. Here are the highlights:

  • The first problem was the volume bug. Whenever another phone was placed next to the Galaxy Nexus, and the volume toggles were used, the Nexus would mimic them as well, causing volume to always be all over the place. Thankfully, Google released an Update which fixed this issue as well as other minor bugs.
  • The Galaxy Nexus from Verizon is said to have some Signal Problems. This is for the LTE version. Many customers complained to Verizon Support and they tweeted: "We do not have an ETA for the fix on this yet, but I do know we are engaged in this issue and it's heavily being looked at." Hope that there is a fix asap for all of those users.
  • The third problem that arisen is the Multi Touch for certain apps. Basically, in the lower right corner of the screen, the phone doesn't register the touch or it does but it constantly loses the contact. This issue can be "reset" in a sense by turning the screen on and off, however it is a hassle. Here is a video which shows the bug:

So as you can see, there are 2 main issues with the phone at the moment. Both issues also come from Verizon's Galaxy Nexus. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens in the future...Will a software update fix the Screen and Signal issues..? As soon as some news gets released, I will keep you guys posted!
