Fresh Tomato Salsa has been a lot of people’s treat when they go out to eat at a Mexican food restaurant. The kids enjoy the taste and that is a thumbs up for parents. This quick Salsa is even healthy for the body because you are going more than 3 serving of vegetables, plus when you eat the tortilla chips you will add wheat and grain in your daily helpings. So, think of it like this; it’s both fun to eat. And it’s healthy!

Fresh tomato salsa ingredients:

2 ripe tomatoes, make sure it is red and juicy
1 garlic clove, must be peeled
1 Green bell pepper, seeded and cut into thirds
2 green onions, cleaned, must be in inch pieces
4 ounces canned chop red peppers
1 jalapeños, you can seed it, up to the person that is cooking
A dash of chili powder
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 Tablespoon lime squeezed or lime juice
1 small cup ice
 
 
 
Directions for this salsa recipe

Get a bowl. Then add the tomatoes in with garlic and all the other ingredients in the big bowl. Don’t put in the ice yet. Let the salsa sit there for a moment. Then crush the ice up. Spread a little in the mix and put it in the blender. This will make everything chunky to barely chunky. When this is happening, add a little ice at a time. This will take about a good 5 minutes from your quick meal time. When done, put it in the refrigerator. This fast dinner idea must then sit in there for an hour or two, and then serve with so delicious tortilla chips.
