Forget the GPS, use a map instead

Regardless of which address I eventually call my home, I want to be certain that the signage in front of my property is adequate enough that my friends and family can find me. I have family from all over the world and although they can find their way around town easily enough, the way they do it is with the help of a GPS. It is true that having your house number painted somewhere in front of the house is a reasonable option for displaying the address of your home, but if your building happens to be blocked with tall trees or vehicles then it would be easier to find if the numbers are clearly posted on a mailbox in front of the driveway. A couple of sharp lookingplaques placed at strategic locations will be the most natural thing in the world.
