This building paper model is the Flügge Lighthouse on Fehmarn, designed by funfabric. The Flügger lighthouse stands in the southwest of the island of Fehmarn, a few miles west of Fehmarn. The lighthouse is open to visitors and offers a panoramic view over the Krummsteert, across the Fehmarn bridge until after Staberhuk – on the other side to Heiligenhafen and Grossenbrode.
The lighthouse Flügge is identical to the lighthouse at Behrensdorf new ground on the other side of the Fehmarnsundes. The octagonal brick tower was surrounded with a red and white plastic casing. From the early summer of 2009, the plastic sheet is removed and restored the underlying masonry. In April 2009, significant deficiencies were noted at the stairs of the tower, a reorganization was necessary. On behalf of the Water and Shipping Office in the course of the works were removed, the red-white plates and set the underlying yellow brickwork in good condition. Since autumn 2010, the tower, as in the original condition, yellow.
