It was John F. Kennedy who said, “The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie, deliberate, contrived and dishonest, but the myth, persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.”

That politicians lie is a forgone conclusion, but the top award for dishonest pandering belongs, hands-down,  to the RepubliCons.  They have the ability to fashion and promote grand deceptions that are lapped up by entire political movements. Their ability to weave delusion and deception that infects and defines issues of policy is sadly unmatched.

Republicans oppose the so-called millionaires' tax or any tax increase for that matter because they say it will discourage investment by the job creators…can’t let the Bush tax-cuts expire because a tax hike will hurt small business and they are the job creators.  This is so much  bull-pucky.       Read more....
