Crushing Circuit Comminution,Crushing Circuit Mineral Equipment

As a basic and pillar industry, coal is our country’s most important base energy sources, and plays an important role in the development of National Economy. It is thus apparent that we need to emphasize on greater coal production and one way of doing this is by increasing the crushing circuit Mineral Equipment efficiency. The Crusher Model has jaw crusher and impact crusher .Impact crusher efficiency can be increased by reducing gap size, by using air blasters to stop clogging. We can increase the jaw crusher efficiency by using fluid coupling as by using it the torque becomes uniform and starting torque is increased. The result of the study was that by reducing gape size from 10 inch to 9.5 inch the percentage of fine particles (–.5 mm) increased from 15.89 to 17.21%. The principle conclusion is that decreasing gap size will cause more impact of hammer on coal particle and more crushing is done.

The crushing circuit is deployed once the ore is hauled or skipped to surface. It is stockpiled at points designated by the zone from which it was extracted. Mine management will determine which categories of ore should be sent for processing at any given period depending on corporate objectives because the grade of ore can vary significantly between zones.

The surface foreman will coordinate his heavy equipment operators to feed the mill. Rock is dumped from an ore truck into a “grizzly” which is basically a huge steel grate with rectangular 14” by 8” holes that permit the passage of such sized rock and smaller onto a hopper below. Over sized rock must be broken by a used hammer crusher which is a hydraulic arm and cylindrical hammer head.

The hopper below will vibrate rock forward for delivery to the jaw crusher. The jaw crusher operator will monitor and moderate the rate of delivery of this conveyor to accommodate for the capacity of jaw crusher. This contraption is quite interesting to watch in action. There are varying sizes of jaw crusher plates. These plates are typically three to four feet wide and four to six feet long. They are encased vertically by length and are surfaced by ridges that mechanically aid in the crushing of rock as rock falls from the hopper. The back plate is stationary but the forward plate thrusts back and forth thereby curshing rock from its three to eight inch circumference to 1 ½ inch or less.
