When you are looking to make your mark online it can be very difficult! Finding the right system/products can be hard work and then marketing and advertising of yourself and the site has to be pretty direct and aggressive initially. There are ways to begin though. First of all though you must find something that you can believe in and something in which you have a passion for.

Products that are in demand but advertised by 'YOU' is the key to your returns. In short, you need to promote something that not only does what it says but is something others need! For example, if you are into fishing and you are somewhat an expert in Carp fishing then this would be a great place start. Let's say you create solutions to feeding carp certain food and this is what you focus on. Start by giving a ton of free value and content on your page in order to get your customers to buy. You might want to write a report or a free e-book to get someone on your list so even though they may not buy straight away they are now on your list.

Building your list of customers/subscribers is where your future income will come from. Think about 'why' they would buy from you and not someone else? What are you offering that someone else doesn't?

You have to learn to build a great relationship with your list whilst also getting huge traffic to your primary squeeze page or blog. So imagine you have the right product and you have a free e-book which can be created for around $100. Next you want to get return in your list so you must create an autoresponder series to send your customers messages every other day. Keep the relationship going. At first send e-mails every other day and then every few days as the weeks go by. Setting up an autoresponder and writing the series can be tricky so you might want to outsource someone to write your e-mails for you.

Get a good copywriter and they can help you to get your message across. Eventually when you are getting enough traffic to your blog/squeeze page and you have an autoresponder set up your list will begin to build. You will become the traffic. This means that your name your brand becomes the traffic. Building your brand is about positioning yourself as an expert so that you are the person people come to instead of you chasing people for a buck.

Only promote business systems or products that you not only believe in but that are legitimate and duplicatable. It is therefore essential if you join a company as an affiliate Marketer that you have a passion for what you do, as I said before. People can tell if what you promote is your desire and passion and it will shine through in your ability to sell with ease. Look at the compensation plan in the company and see if it is realistic in getting you a good monthly income. It has to be a simple system or formula so others can see that as well. Find a good teacher who has already done what you want to do. Then you can copy their style and take ideas from them. Don't outright copy anyone but get a feel for what they are saying and how they get their message across to you.

Enjoy the learning process and as you increase your value to others you will start to see the returns. Don't look at the dollar signs but rather look how you can serve others and by serving others whilst creating solutions you will be in demand in the marketplace. A great way to increase you brand awareness is to get social! What I mean is to get onto Facebook and Twitter and YouTube. Add value there and always make an appearance. Connect all of your social outlets together and ensure that you appear as the expert. Set up a blog and join LinkedIn as well. The idea is to show yourself as a professional and others will treat you as such.
