Like that bar in Tarantino’s Dusk till Dawn, Crazy Homies has that downtown Tijuana feel minus the snakedancer (although in London, Vampires are a dime to a dozen). Part of the Tom Conran Group of Restaurants, the Westbourne Grove’s eatery is a cool hideaway where can kick back enjoying Margarita’s with the bandito’s surrounded by mexicana iconography and suffused neon light.

The building that houses Crazy Homies has history too. In the 1960s, the basement used to be a West Indian shabeen that was frequented by ‘call girl’ Christine Keeler, the woman at the centre of a political/sex/celluloid scandal that brought down Government Minister John Profumo. Perhaps she was a snakedancer!
